Angela Castellani, PhD
Senior Managing Director, Leadership Consulting
Angela is Senior Managing Director and Head of Ferguson Partners' Leadership Consulting group. Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, she led the Chicago office for a leadership development consultancy specializing in talent strategy, individual and team assessment, executive coaching, succession planning, and team effectiveness. Her approach to assessment and leadership development is underpinned by her experience leading a team, managing a P&L, and launching a new office for her company. Both as an external consultant and internal business leader, she has honed her ability to integrate insights about people and behavior with an understanding of business issues, strategic imperatives, and organizational culture.
In addition to her consulting experience, Angela has 10 years of clinical and research experience specializing in interpersonal communication, building and maintaining trust, and improving the quality of relationships, both at home and at work. In her early career, she worked in the Texas federal prison system, an inpatient hospital, as well as a top US medical school. Her foundational background and education in clinical psychology enables her to go a step beyond traditional assessment and coaching work to help business leaders spot effective and ineffective behaviors, understand what drives that behavior, and translate the self-awareness into long-standing change.
Angela completed her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Texas A&M University. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
